Words

Using quotes around a phrase will search for the exact phrase. Without quotes, you will see all the verses that contains those words in that order, but not necessarily together.

You can also quote a single word to avoid finding all the words that contain those letters.

Passages

You can abbreviate the book name, and select a range of verses (or even chapters) by using a hyphen.

Use a , or ; to find multiple passages.

By selecting a book and a chapter, you can read through the entire book; just click the Next or Previous chapter links.

Also, any of your search results will have links to the chapter in which your result was found.

Combination

By using the in: keyword, you can limit the results to certain passages.

Audio

You can listen as the Bible is read to you, chapter by chapter. Simply search for a specific chapter, such as:

Click the arrow button next to the speaker symbol, and the audio will start playing. You can skip to any portion of the chapter by clicking in the player bar.

Whenever you do a search, the results will have links to the chapter in which they were found. You can hover over the link to show the audio player, and then listen to the chapter. You can also click the chapter link to read the whole chapter, and then click Next or Previous to read and listen to any chapter in the book. You will also have the option to download the chapter to listen on your own media player.

Hebrew and Greek Definitions

If you hover over a word or phrase of Scripture, a dashed underline will appear. This means you can click to see the Strong's definition of the original Hebrew or Greek it was translated from. Or you can simply lookup a Strong's number:

After the definition will be a list of all the ways that word was translated in the King James Version. You will also see all the verses in the Bible where the word was used. By using the in: keyword, you can limit the results to certain passages.
